Two students aged 17, activists of an association for the right to housing, were in custody Tuesday for "rebellion" in the aftermath of a municipal council heckled in Levallois-Perret (Hauts-de-Seine) where the mayor UMP Patrick Balkany was evacuated the room, told police source and from the local PS.
Some twenty members of the Solidarity Movement for housing (MSL), a local association, disrupted by heckling the City Council meeting Monday evening, until the deputy mayor of Levallois-Perret calls for the evacuation of the Hall to restore calm, according to a police source.
Following the evacuation, police have arrested 17 people, of whom 15 were quickly released, but two militants were taken into custody for "rebellion", added the source.
